First Calligaris Flagship Store in Milan

The first Calligaris Flagship Store is opening in Milan, on via Tivoli, at the corner of Foro Buonaparte in the prestigious Brera neighbourhood. This marks the birth of a modern reference point for the expression of the style, values and identity of the Calligaris brand.
The store occupies a total area of 7000 square metres, spread over three floors, where a house inside the store is the setting for the presentation of Calligaris interior design solutions for a universe of warm, contemporary and vivacious living: "design for living, for today's home". The entire setting can be seen on the website www.milano.calligaris.it in the coming weeks.

Calligaris Cloe Chair

As always Calligaris chair is in the TOP 10 chairs of the year - the annual award granted at the Udine Chair Show. This year there are two chairs produced by Calligaris in this list. One of them is Cloe.

It is designed by S.T.C. studio and will be soon available at the stores.

Calligaris DUO Modern Dining Table

DUO Table is created by the deigners from S.T.C. Studio. It is available in two variations - with glass top and wooden top. The colours of the frame and top as always can satisfy any taste: natural, cherry, wenge for wood, and frosted or espresso coffee for glass.

The table comes in two options: non-extendible, and extendible.

Calligaris Planet CS/4005 Dining Table

Calligaris Planet table by design studio S.T.C. is specifically made for the modern small spaces and can be used as a combination of a kitchen and a dining table at the same time.

It is available in different tops: glass or wood of many variations of colours.

The diameter of the table is 120 cm.

Made in Italy.

Calligaris Atelier Dining Table

Table “Atelier” is created by design studio S.T.C. that belongs to Calligaris. The model is made in modern style. The table, due to a large middle leaf of 56 cm long, can be transformed into a large oval table. Another very interesting detail – the legs of the table are placed a little bit outside the top (usually the legs are on the same line with the table top or under it). The material used is solid beech. The table is universal as it fits both residential houses, and cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Calligaris Ottoman "ZOE"

Designers Paolo Lucidi and Luce Pevere created ottomans “Zoe” for Calligaris as very bright, nice and light-minded items. It’s not accidental. “Zoe” in ancient Greek means “Life”.
The authors saw the meaning of Life in bright orange color of Italian and Sicilian oranges. Strong colors and uneven shapes are very pleasant for the eyes. The items are not only pure designer pieces. They are quite practical – the wool covers can be taken off and dry cleaned.

Calligaris Celebrated its 85th Anniversary

This story began like many success stories begin. Antonio Calligaris from Italian province Friuli started making chairs in his small shop. In 1966 when his grandson Alessandro Calligaris took over the family business, he made a revolution. His turned a small shop into a huge, modern, but still family manufacturer. Each year Calligaris presents more than 50 new models at the International Furniture Show iSaloni in Milan. This year Calligaris company turned 85. The owner celebrated anniversary in Milan palazzo Piazza Affari, where he invited more than 500 guests from all over the world.
